Team Monica

Hello Family and Friends!

 

Your prayers are working.  Monica is looking healthier every day and growing stronger every minute.  She has a brain tumor that cannot be totally removed but it is slow-growing.  She is comfortable at home trying to get back to the routine of her blessed life.

 

Race for Hope - DC.  For the past 2 years Monica and I have run a 5K race in DC that helps awareness of brain tumors.  We had no personal connection with the race.  It was just something we did.  Who would have thought she would have such a personal connection to the cause?  She is very excited that we have registered a "Team Monica" this year.  This email is to inform you about the organization of that team.

 

If you would like to run/walk for "Team Monica" on May 1, Freedom Square in DC, here are the instructions for the race website.  www.curebraintumors.org.  Hit "register."  "Register to Join a Team."  Type "Team Monica".  Hit "Search."  Click Team Monica.  Click "Join".  (Lower right)  Select "Timed" or "Not Timed."  Proceed through checkout.  You will get a Race For Hope T-Shirt but we will also be printing up Team Monica shirts so we can stand out as a group.  I'll collect sizes later.

 

If you would like to just donate to "Team Monica" just log onto www.curebraintumors.org. Hit "donate" then "donate to support a team."  Select "search for a Team."  Type in "Team Monica".  "Search."  Click on Treuth, Laura (team captain),  Click "make a gift." (Under the thermometer)  Enter the amount and proceed through checkout.
